For the last 70 days, there have been two days where I have not been able to put any work in. But, I am still working on creating content for my levels and puzzles.
One of the issues I was running into with Maya LT, was skinning of rigid items(using smooth bind because rigid bind is not part of LT). I use Boolean operations to model a lot of stuff and the solver would complain a lot about non-manifold geometry or other similar problems. But, in essence, skinning rigid items is not really necessary when you can just parent the joints to the items. No skinning, and all the bone animations work just as well as before.
So for the start of the new year, I will be working more and working harder.
