All the UV adjustments I needed to make have been taken care off, all the silhouettes look a lot smoother and I can continue focusing on adding more game features and pieces to the levels.
Spent a couple of mornings doing some MEL programming for Maya so that I could batch up some UV operations, but found a built in command that did almost all that I needed it to do. MEL is not a pretty language, but it is very easy and anything you can do with UI in Maya, you script in MEL.
I’m taking the weekend off to relax a bit, taste some local beers, watch movies and play some games. But on Monday, I will be back to churning out game features and level items for my game.
